Every strategy here is a NinjaTrader 8 automated strategy written in C#, built on a shared framework rather than as a one-off script. The trading idea is the part that changes from one strategy to the next; the order handling, risk limits and bookkeeping around it are written once and reused, so they behave the same way everywhere.
Styles
Trend following
TREND
Adaptive moving averages (KAMA, MAMA, DEMA), channel and level breakouts, and always-in-the-market stop-and-reverse systems that ride a move until the trend flips.
Mean reversion
FADE
Fades of stretched prices back toward a mean — Bollinger and RSI extremes, with filters that keep them out of strongly trending sessions.
Order flow
FLOW
Cumulative delta, absorption, VWAP bands, initial-balance and value-area failures — setups read from volume at price rather than price alone.
Scalping
FAST
Short-horizon momentum and volatility-spike entries with tight, pre-defined exits.
Renko and custom bars
BARS
Strategies designed around custom Renko bar types, where noise filtering happens in the bars before any signal is computed.
Session and opening-range
ORB
Opening-range breakouts, gap fills and time-of-day setups tied to the trading session.
What every strategy shares
01
Risk budget
A daily loss limit and a per-trade risk cap, both measured from the account’s start-of-day balance, with position size worked out from the stop distance rather than fixed.
02
Trade management
Stop loss and profit target on every entry, optional break-even moves, and targets that can scale with current volatility.
03
One strategy per symbol
When several strategies run on the same account, an entry is refused while another strategy — or a manual trade — is already using the instrument, so their positions never net against each other.
04
Consistent structure
Each strategy fills in the same set of steps — update indicators, check filters, look for a signal, size and enter, manage the trade — which makes any two of them easy to read side by side.
Custom work
If you have a set of rules you would like turned into a strategy like these, see the About page for how a project runs and how to get in touch.
Strategies are software, not advice. Backtest results describe the past under stated assumptions and are not a forecast; trading leveraged instruments carries substantial risk of loss.
